REGISTRATION OF STUDENT

  1. A student will not ordinarily be allowed to change his/her method subjects/elective subjects, unless the same is applied for and permitted, within 30 working days of the commencement of the classes. Such application shall be made to the Principal, who will decide on the case in consultation with Teacher Council of the college.

  2. The student shall be liable to pay all dues upto the end of the session during an academic session.

  3. He/She will not eligible for readmission in the next session without the proper admission procedure.

  4. Any student can apply for the admission to B.Ed course from any UGC recognised university in our country.

  5. No student shall simultaneously persue any other course of study from WBSUB or any other university.

STUDENT'S AID FUND AND SALARY

Only poor students can enjoy the facility of Student's Aid Fund. SC/ST candidate will get scholarship from State Govt. SC/ST deputed candidates will not be eligible for Scholarship. All the deputed candidates get salary (Basic pay) from Govt. of W.B.

General Rules for Admission

1. Application fees may be obtained, either in person or through a messenger from the college office can laying the notified fee during working hour (11-00 A.M. to 2-00 P.M ) Monday to Friday. Forms may also be obtained by post on sending a Crossed Demand Draft from the requisite amount drawn in favour of G.C.M. College of Education and accompaned by a self addressed stamped (Rs. ) envelope size (2.5 cm. x 10 cm.). The remittance should be sent to the Principal, G.C.M. College of Education, New Barrackpur, Kolkata- 700 131.
2. Applications received after the last date will not be entertained.
3. The original certificates and mark sheet of all qualifying Public Examination, with all other relevant document (co-curricular activities) are to be produced at the time of interview.
4. There is no hostel accommodation.
5. Candidates are advised to read carefully the PROSPECTUS is issued along with all prescribed application forms.
6. Admissions are made strictly in order of merit on the basis of marks obtained at different levels from Madhyamik to Ph.D.and councelling. Failure to appear at the counselling, where held will cancel the candidates right to admission.
7. Notification for admission to B.Ed. course in our college are published in leading news paper.
8. The candidates for eligibility and rules and regulations modified from time to time, subject to the approval of Academic Council and the G. B. of the college. Such changes and modification will super side the information the other prospectus.
